Which colours make you happy? Like, blissfully happy? I don’t know what it is about them, but whenever I see aqua (or turquoise, or teal) and blush pink, my mood is instantly lifted and I can’t help but smile. These colours also make me immediately think of Spring and Easter. Today, I’m excited to share with you my Spring dessert table decor as part of the Spring dinner party blog hop that I have the pleasure of being a part of with a group of very talented ladies! Head down to the bottom of this post for more Spring dinner party ideas. This Springy dessert table would work great as part of an Easter dinner party, or any type of Spring or Summer party that requires a fresh burst of colour and DIY. It includes my favourite colours for Spring – aqua and blush pink – along with pops of moss green and yellow. I’ve made a Spring wreath and a tassel banner from fabric scraps that I can use year after year, and all of the other items I used were things I had on hand.

A sweet & nature-inspired Spring grapevine wreath takes center stage on my blackboard. In case you missed it, click here to see the video tutorial on how I made this fun wreath featuring these DIY fabric roses.

Below the wreath is a string of blush pink pom-pom trim and a tassel banner I’ve made of fabric scraps.

I’ve always wanted to make a tassel banner, and thought I’d make one that’s a little different from the ones I’ve seen made of tissue paper. I have sooooo much fabric (*blush*), so I grabbed some scraps that matched my theme and made the banner for free in an afternoon.

Here’s my video tutorial on how to make the fabric tassel banner. It’s so fun (and Little A’s stuffed Kitty makes a guest appearance):

Little C graciously lent me this aqua bird cage from her own room decor, and she filled it with faux robin’s eggs.

I used faux boxwood topiary trees and faux succulents as nice touches of greenery for the table.

My teal set of glasses looks so pretty on the table to serve some fresh lemon water to go with cake and cupcakes.

My 6 year old Little C had the adorable idea to wrap my vintage cake stand with a white feather boa and I thought it was so cute!

I moved the birch bark candles from my Spring centerpiece over to this table to perch on my white Ikea candlesticks.

The birdcage on the left is from Value Village, and the wire baskets in my Ikea sideboard are from Walmart. There’s nothing fancy or expensive here, but I think the entire effect is really fresh and happy!
