Can you believe Christmas is less than 2 weeks away?! I sure can’t. It’s really crept up on us this year, but I’m so excited to spend time with my family and enjoy the season.

Coming up with creative table setting ideas is one of my favourite things to do – especially for the Holidays! Today I’m sharing how I’ve decorated both our dining room and breakfast nook tables in a rustic glam style for Christmas. Both tablescapes are mostly neutral in colour, but they have sparkling accents to help make them feel festive.

Rustic Glam Dining Room Table Decor

I’ve been loving adding simple greenery to the Keswick Dining Table from The Brick in our dining room. The warm caramel wood tone of the table contrasts so nicely with green, so I’ve kept to the simple palette of wood, green, gold and white in our dining room this year.

The centerpiece is an organic looking floral arrangement I made at a local Cory Christopher workshop, and its green and natural elements was the inspiration for this rustic glam look.

I’ve paired the floral arrangement with a faux eucalyptus garland as a runner, and then used gold chargers and white and green dishes to complete the neutral look.

I still can’t get over the gorgeous pedestal legs on our table, and I love how they look against my white painted chairs. Faux fur chair pads on the chairs give them comfort and a wintry look.

My card holder wreath from The Brick’s Sunburst mirror gives a glam contrast to all of the rustic elements in our dining room, and a couple of lit faux birch trees on either side of my buffet add some twinkle.

I can’t wait to enjoy a Christmas meal or two in our dining room this year!

Rustic Glam Breakfast Nook Table Decor

For our breakfast nook Christmas table, I tried to come up with something a little more casual and intimate, but still in a rustic glam style.

I used all white, textured dishes and chargers on this table to contrast nicely with our beautiful Trudell Dining Table from The Brick. Some black & white plaid napkins and faux greenery sprigs finish off this pretty but simple setting. The round shape of our Trudell Table lends itself to a more casual look, and we love it for relaxed family breakfasts and dinners.

I also added a very simple centerpiece – a few mercury glass trees, mercury glass candle holders, and more faux evergreen branches for a festive but neutral look. I absolutely love the smooth and sparkling mercury glass against the deep colour and rustic wooden texture of our table.

I also have some more green in this room. Our Manhattan Dining Chairs from The Brick add a fun pop of colour while still matching the Christmas greenery I’ve used, and you can read all about my thoughts on how they’ve been holding up as dining chairs right here.

The tiniest bits of pink in a toss pillow and a velvet ribbon over our wooden sign help keep this room feel fun and fresh. I love pink & green together, and think it’s unexpected and beautiful at Christmas time.

I’m looking forward to enjoying a lazy Christmas morning breakfast with my family here soon!

Now tell me: Which Christmas table setting do you prefer – the dining room or breakfast nook? How are you decorating your Christmas table this year?
