You don’t have to spend a lot of money to create a beautiful tablescape for your Fall celebrations this season! Let me show you how I put together an inexpensive table setting for Autumn with thrifted & dollar store items.

This blog post is part of a Fall tablescape hop with some of my blogging friends, so after you’ve read my post make sure to click on all the links at the bottom to get tons more beautiful autumn table ideas!

We recently got a colourful new rug in our dining room, so this year it was so much fun to create a vibrant Fall tablescape to match it!

Not only did I challenge myself to coordinate our Fall tablescape with the new rug, but I also wanted to create an inexpensive idea that didn’t look cheap.

I started with some vintage amber glassware that I snagged from my local antique and thrift stores for a great price. I’m loving amber glass this season, and it’s fun to mix-and-match it – there’s no need to find an exactly matching set!

A faux floral centerpiece filled with stems I had on hand and some from Dollar Tree set the mood for the table.

For each setting, I layered some simple white plates on Ikea rattan placemats. I found some lovely mustard yellow & teal napkins from Simons for only $1.99 each, and placed a glass Dollar Tree pumpkin in green or teal on top of those. Some simple gold flatware from Amazon finished the look.

So easy and inexpensive, right? And I think it still looks beautiful and totally Fall-worthy!

Here’s a throwback to a few years ago when I did a Colourful Fall Tablescape with a Boho Vibe, what do you think?

  1. Love seeing a bit of color in a setting…so many are neutral (which is ok, but I love color even more now that everyone has gone neutral). Beautiful setting! <3

  2. Please share where your colorful rugs are from. They are exactly what I’ve been looking for and I’ve had no luck finding anything like them. Thanks!

  3. I adore your entire dining room decor!! Where did you find that amazing table and do you mind sharing the dimensions?
