Macrame has made a big comeback this year in home decor, and I’ve enjoyed experimenting with some macrame DIY projects. You might remember the macrame table runner I made this Fall, and today I have another fun macrame tutorial to share with you: a soft macrame pillow cover! This ain’t your usual macrame – it’s soft and squishy and perfect as a cozy pillow. Read on to learn how to make your own soft macrame pillow cover for your Holiday decor or to give as a gift this season, and I’m also giving you a chance to win your own stash of gorgeous, chunky vegan roving yarn from Top Knot Style!

I’ve wanted to try Top Knot Style’s vegan roving yarn for some time now, so when Amanda of TKS sent me a giant box of delicious, chunky yarn to experiment with I was in DIY heaven!

After whipping up an arm knit blanket with some of the Rose Quartz coloured yarn, I wanted to try something more unique – macrame! I thought a soft macrame pillow cover with fringed sides would be a beautiful and different accessory for my winter decor this year.

To learn how to make your own (it’s relatively fast and easy!), watch my video tutorial at the bottom of this post. I recommend watching this video if you need to learn some basic macrame knots. I used approximately 1 1/2 skeins of this yarn to make this pillow.

Top Knot Style and I are also giving you a chance to WIN your very own luxe roving yarn stash! You can win 10 SKEINS of Top Knot Style yarn by simply visiting my Instagram account and following the giveaway directions. Good luck!
