To make these arrangements, you’ll need:

  • some pink and/or ivory coloured pampas grass
  • bunny tail grass
  • rabbit tail grass
  • preserved bleached eucalyptus
  • cleaned pasta jar or other mason jar
  • yarn
  • these personalized DIY clay ornaments (or another gift tag)

I was gifted all of my grasses from Luxe B Pampas Grass, and you can use the code THEDIYMOMMY to get 20% off your Luxe B order from their website or Etsy Shop!

I collect these PC pasta jars because I love their shape and their gold lid, so this was a great opportunity for me to upcycle them into something cute!

Let’s start arranging!

To start your arrangement, cut 3-5 stems of pink pampas grass in a variety of different heights. I like to place my jar close to the edge of a table, place my stem on the side of the table to adjust its height while looking at the jar, and then cut the stem.

You can also add some ivory coloured pampas grass stems in the jar as well, keeping the taller stems in the middle of the jar. Then, add 3-5 bunny tail and rabbit tail grasses for more texture, making sure to cut them at various heights as well.

Next, add a draping stem of the preserved eucalyptus to the jar to give it some shape and texture.

Place a small bundle of dried star flowers at the center front of the arrangement, trimming them so that the peek out of the jar’s rim.

Finally, finish your pampas grass arrangement gift by tying a piece of yarn around the jar and adding a personalized clay ornament. You can learn how to make these ornaments right here.

Drop this gift on the porch of a friend or family member for a sweet, Spring or Valentine’s Day surprise!

I made three of these for each of my daughters. They have “A”, “B” and “C” heart ornaments on them for each girl’s name.

These soft arrangements were also perfect for a Valentine’s Day tablescape we put together, and you can see the table right here.

  1. I had no idea that Pampas grass is available in different colors and sizes. Also love the look of the Bunny Tail and Rabbit Tail grasses. Your arrangement is so pretty!

Also wanted to tell you that I enjoy your Tic Tok videos. I have a slight (cough-cough) Tic Tok addiction.
