DIY Easter Decorations for the Table

I am excited to share a couple of ways to dress up your Easter entertaining with table decor ideas! Whether you are entertaining friends for a casual tea or hosting a large formal Easter dinner, I hope you find some ideas here that you can make your own with some custom finishing touches and treats.

Make a Spring Tea Station

Come make a beautiful spring-themed tea station in aquas and lavenders on a wooden tiered tray. This would be perfect for a spring party, for Easter, or for Mother’s Day! I used a tiered cake tray with floral napkins and a complementary pastel tea set and flowers, and the result is stunning and cheery. Add some Easter candy and other treats of your own choosing to complete the look you want.  Check out the post for full details!

A Bright and Colourful Easter Dinner Table Setting

I’m in love with this Easter table setting, and I’ll tell you why: it’s inspired by a meaningful find! When we moved things around after my parents left our guest house we found an old box containing some vintage china my grandma left me, coloured with a gorgeous blue, pink, and green floral pattern and gold trim. I had almost forgotten about it until now! When I opened it up, I knew it would be the inspiration for this year’s bright and colourful Easter table setting.

Here’s a sneak peek of how I created this DIY easter tablescape:

  • I paired this china with blue rattan chargers and gold cutlery
  • Next I added a DIY blue and white table runner (visit the post for the tutorial on that)
  • Then I added fresh tulips for an Easter centerpiece
  • Lastly I accessorized with bowls of chocolate eggs, but coloured jelly beans would do just as well

I hope you get some inspiration for your Easter table from my ideas!
